Thomas S. Monson had a quote printed in a book of his favorite quotes or quotes given by him. Here is this little saying, that I love.
"When in charge- PONDER!
When in trouble- DELEGATE!
When in doubt- MUMBLE,
then refer the problem to a
coordinating committee for review."
Isn't it funny? Well, I found it to be hilarious. It sort of reminds me of my calling as the YSA President, I ponder a lot, I delegate, and I mumble, but when no one comes through after I've pondered, I mumble, and go straight back to pondering.
So its become a cycle with me. I don't stress over anything because I know there's always another way to going about my duties and responsibilities.
Here's another quote found in Thomas S. Monson's favorite quotes.
A good formula for Successful Leader is:
(1) Communicate
(2) Motive
(3) Mediate
(4) Generate
After reading this formula its helped me in everything that I do,
not just with my leadership roles.
PATIENCE and ENDURANCE comes with everything that I do,
and I know everything will just be fine.
